Great experience dealing with Lordship Flooring. The in-store staff was ready to help and provide some key information about flooring options in a damp environment. They were also really patient and prepared several quotes when I was still hesitating about the design.Really quick as well, from order to completion it just took 6 days.Installation team was quick, clean and did a really good job overall.Engineered wood floor (glued) in 1 room, but I’ll probably go back for the rest of the floor.

Lordship Flooring installed amtico flooring in my kitchen a few months ago. I had a great experience with Lordship Flooring. The whole process went very smoothly and I love how the new floors look. Tom in the office is super helpful and friendly, answering all my questions. The installation team – led by Chris and Alan – were also fantastic, efficient and really friendly. They explained the installation process very clearly so I understood what would happen and when. The final product looks great (people always compliment the floors when they visit) and it’s proven to be quite durable so far over the last 3 months since they were installed.
We had a great experience with Lordship. Their wood flooring is high quality and looks beautiful, and their installation was sound. Always friendly and knowledgable service. When we had a couple small snags, they gave us no trouble coming out to fix them in a reasonable time. We would use them again!

Our experience with Lordship Flooring deteriorated from promising to problematic due to what appears to be intentionally deceptive business practices. Initially, we sought quotes from three companies to replace carpets throughout our house – a substantial project involving three staircases and five rooms. Despite Lordship Flooring presenting the highest quote, we selected them based on their local presence.Problems emerged during installation when the fitters claimed only two staircases were included in the contract, falsely stating we had declined the third staircase. This claim was demonstrably false for two reasons: all competing quotes included three staircases, and Lordship’s team had personally measured the third staircase twice, even discussing specific concerns about water damage to the wooden stairs during their assessment.Instead of addressing this discrepancy professionally, Lordship Flooring simply issued an additional invoice exceeding £1,000 for the third staircase installation. We believe they intentionally omitted the third staircase from their initial quote to appear more competitive and secure the contract. Their handling of the situation – avoiding direct communication and simply sending an unexpected invoice – further damaged our trust. Based on this apparent bait-and-switch tactic and their unprofessional response, we cannot recommend their services.
I would highly recommend Lordship Flooring in Dulwich. We ordered both bathroom marmoleum and some carpets from them and the whole process went very smoothly and efficiently. The fitters were very friendly and did an excellent job. I can’t praise them more highly.
The Blackheath Branch were really helpful in choosing a carpet ( I have cats who love to scratch at the carpet). Fitting was very professional and the fitters were polite and tidy . I would recommend using Lordship Flooring Company .

We’ve had two really positive experiences with Lordship Flooring recently. Neil and Paul put down a new lino flooring in our utility room and did so with huge care and attention to our needs. Then James and Joe sanded, mended and oiled our two flights of stairs and landings, miraculously sorting out broken, cracked and creaking floorboards, leaving hardly any dust and again working with huge concern for the disruption on our working lives and taking immense care to talk us through every stage of the process. The person who welcomed us in the shop was lovely. A young man took the time to explain the different types of floor, prices ranges, etc. He was also kind enough to book us for a site survey for the following week.However, the person who came to measure our house was quite rude with me and my builder. Just an unfriendly, and quite frankly a negative person.I will probably look for options elsewhere.
We spent some time in the shop shortlisting materials for our new home. Had requested samples more than 6 weeks ago, still waiting and no updates!
Arabella and Glenn were a delight to work with. They took the time to suggest designs that suited our home and were even kind enough to allow us to take samples home to see how things would look.The workmanship was of the highest quality and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The floors in our flat were ruined by a plumbing incident and lordship did a tremendous job putting in a new floor. They were significantly cheaper and much higher quality than the contractors recommended to us by the property management & insurance companies.The team was great to work with as well. Clearly explained the process when they came out for the quote and were responsive to all our questions. I couldn’t recommend them more highly
Excellent service and quality of workmanship.LF were quick to come and measure up and happy to quote for a small job.Within just a few days they had given us a very reasonable quote for our preferred rubber flooring, ordered the product and visited twice to remove the old flooring, lay the screed, and lay the new flooring.They arrived when they said they would, worked fast, tidied up and completed the work in next to no time.We’re very happy with the result.Definitely recommended.

An American man, the manager I think, was super helpful and amazingly knowledgeable.I went with a beautiful natural Oak Herringbone.The fitters were amazing Chris,Alan and Ollie. Lordship Flooring did a fantastic job restoring our original hardwood floors. Joe, who did the work, was very friendly, explained his process thoroughly, and worked efficiently and to a very high standard. The results are much better than we’d hoped and we’re so pleased with the work. The floor has a new lease of life!
We have now used Lordship Flooring to replace the flooring throughout our property with the exception of 2 rooms. The quality of flooring and workmanship are to a high standard and all the various different flooring look fantastic. In particular we have to mention Joe who is such a great communicator and his attention to detail was first class. James who works alongside him was a great supporting act. In addition, the level of customer service afforded us was beyond our expectations with Daniel, at the front desk, at the forefront of this and being always helpful, patient and professional whenever we needed advice or we were unsure of which product to choose. Lastly, we have to mention Derek the owner who was always flexible and accommodating whenever changes needed to be made. In our opinion this is a high quality company with high quality workmen and we highly recommend it.

They were so helpful from the offset, they really went above and beyond helping me to decide what would work best for my style and budget. I’m really fussy about colour and they even went to the effort of finding a carpet that had little blue flecks in to complement my blue walls😍I had no idea about any of this stuff, as I’ve just moved in to my first home, so they’re consultation-approach was invaluable to me and made the process completely stress free!! I was so impressed with the quality of the materials. And what’s more, the guy who came round to instal was really friendly and I barely knew he was there while he worked! We had new Amtico floors fitted last week at our flat in Greenwich. Very happy with the service received throughout. Glenn took care to come and do an in-person fitting to make sure he saw the important details like carpet underlay being replaced. The team (Mel, Daniel, Derek) promptly answered any questions we had prior to the install. Special mention to Mel who was super patient with us when we were taking our time choosing the new colour and type of flooring – she gave great advice and we’re very happy with how it looks. Fitters Chris and Alan were superb – friendly and consultative and just got on with a neat and tidy job within the estimated timeframe. Don’t hesitate to call Arabella and the team if you’re looking for new flooring – it’s worth going for a quality firm for this long-term investment in your home.
I have no hesitation in recommending Lordship Flooring. They have just done the flooring in our house from top to bottom in Easy Clean Sisal. I dithered for ages choosing the sisal but Arabella was so patient, and always a joy to work with – nothing was too much trouble – The Team of Fitters also did a fabulous job – the sisal looks amazing so thanks to Chris, Alan, Felix, Tom and James – they were all so polite and hardworking – if I could give Lordship 10 stars, I would.

Just had Alan and Steve finishing off three days of incredibly-high quality work, installing engineered wood across hallways, stairs and the lounge.I’ve used LFC before, and was impressed with their carpet work then, but the wood-installation pair have left us with the most incredible new floor. Hard working, incredibly friendly and clearly experts in their field, we will have no hesitation in getting them in when we do the next room!

Had a really good experience with Lordship Flooring recently. They put in our carpet including a stair runner a decade ago. It’s aged really well, and we just needed to patch up one part of the stairs which is heavily used so had worn through in a few places. The line was discontinued but Lordship sent their team over and they were able to make it as good as new with some off-cuts we had kept. I was impressed by how easy this was to arrange and how willing they were to send their team for a small job like this ten years after the original purchase. Great service – thanks guys!
Knowledge staff, friendly, good communication and did a fabulous job. Our floors now look amazing. Not cheap and a bit of waiting time for fitting (eg 4-6 weeks) but that’s reasonable for the quality.

We had carpets and marmoleum flooring fitted by Lordship Flooring several years ago so went back when we needed yet another room doing. As expected the service we received was absolutely top notch. The lady in the shop was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful taking lots of time to ensure she showed us as wide a range of options as possible since we were rather indecisive. We went for a wooden floor in the end and the final room looks fantastic. The fitters were brilliant. So friendly, careful and considerate during the laying.Have to say we weren’t surprised since this excellent level of professional service is what we’ve become accustomed to with Lordship Flooring. We have been using Lordship Flooring for many years now and would not go anywhere else. Three years ago they laid the Amtico flooring in our newly extended and refurbished kitchen which looked so amazing so we decided to have the rest of our downstairs laid to match. The staff I spoke to in the shop were incredibly helpful and patient, answering all my questions and explaining what would be involved. As expected the lead time was quite long but they were excellent and even managed to squeeze us in earlier than they thought. Unfortunately when they came to lay the floor they hit an unexpected snag with what was under our old flooring. They almost instantly came up with an alternative plan so to say the problem was dealt with efficiently was an understatement.I cannot recommend this company enough. From the staff on the shop floor to the guys who come to measure and fit, they are all incredibly friendly, helpful and hardworking which is reflected in the high quality of the materials and excellent workmanship of the finished fitted flooring. Absolutely love how the whole of my downstairs floor looks!

I just wanted to be able to reply to the response from the company after my review and there isn’t an option to do this.Firstly, I wanted to see what the different options were.Secondly, I would’ve happily had someone come in to do and assessment and provide a quote – My insurance would’ve covered this if need be. However, the person I was speaking with was dismissive, rude and snooty. He was defensive when I asked if there were any prices or a catalogue I could take. What’s even more interesting is the amount of reviews I have seen after this incident that comment on the rudeness of the sales people/front of house of this business – I don’t doubt that the installers are wonderful and skilled. However, your customer service is to be questioned and from my experience, left me incredibly upset.I would also like to add that I have never heard of a company asking for 200 Pounds for a quote on work if the client had all the information to hand – something that your colleague didn’t give me or allow me to share.I went and visited some friend for lunch who also shared that they had to walk out of your shop due to rudeness. As well as speaking with another flooring company who had also heard that staff were rude to customers.It’s a real shame.
Wow. I just went in to get some information about flooring.I found the person fronting the shop to ge cold and dismissive.I was trying to gather information and book someone to come and assess the job, with a quote.The sales person kept saying that it’ll cost 200 pounds.I asked for a price list per square meter but they didn’t have one. He kept saying, I’m not an assessor so I can’t help you.I felt like I’d interrupted their time and that he was looking down on me and if I’m honest, was unkind.Really sad as I’ve been waiting all week to come and see these guys and see what their options are.
We’ve used Lordship flooring twice in the last year. Once for new carpets and once for some wooden flooring. They’ve been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout and the quality of the work is top notch.The wooden flooring was problematic due to an issue with the laminate and our uneven sub floor. They kept coming back to fix up and try different things and eventually installed a completely new floor which is excellent. Throughout this troubled process they couldn’t have been more helpful and stayed on the job until it was sorted.Cannot recommend highly enough

Absolutely sterling job by the team who put down our wood flooring yesterday. They worked their socks off to get the job finished in a day and it looks amazing…we are so pleased with it. Very friendly guys, and they helped us carry a very heavy table back into our dining room. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for any type of flooring. 5 ⭐️‘s plus.

Went to get a carpet. Man in shop unable to calculate carpet size required to allow me to get quote or buy. I would have thought the requisite for working in a carpet shop and to be able to help would require the maths skills to allow customers to leave with a product
